What is a point

A point is a place on the map you use to describe places that have  meaning to you. For example: my job interview is at commercial office which is at 1345 Fort St Victoria BC. A point can be private (red- only the user who created it, can see it), Friends(green- only your Cyber2street friends can see it), Public(Yellow- the whole world can see it)

What is an event?

An event is a series of points that has the same meaning but no particular order. For example: Nature festival in Thetis Island may contain individual points; one point can be called Giving back to nature concert and is at 20 Forbes Dr. another point is called: cleaning the island gala on 45 harbour Rd. Those points all belong to the Nature Festival in Thetis Island.

What is a route?

A Route is a series of points with a specific order to it. For example: Helen and Morty`s birthday bash. Point 1 we start at Helen`s place on 345 Homer Vancouver BC then we go to point 2 Helen`s favourite restaurant called the Mug on 667 Hamilton st then go to point 3 the Sabras club at 99 Burard st.

What is a group?

A group is a set of points that has the same meaning and purpose and that has more of a constant behavior to it. For example: Wal-Mart is a well-known brand. We have Wal-Mart Langford at 779 Langford av, Victoria BC, there is also downtown Victoria Wal-Mart at 990 gorge st, Victoria BC and we have downtown Vancouver Wal-Mart at 876 Smithe st, Vancouver BC. if Wall-Mart organization would want to create these official points on the map all they need to do is create the points on the map and click on Make Official link to have an Official stamp on the point information (that will generate an email to support@cyber2street.com with the request)

What is MyFriends?

MyFriends is the place where you will see what your friends have been up to and look at their maps, you can chat with online friends, send and receive messages through your inbox and send and receive mutual maps with specific points. For Example: your friend want to share with you Helen and Morty`s birthday bash map, he will create the points on the map and click `SharePoints` then you will receive the email with the map in your inbox.

What is MyPoints?

MyPoints tab shows only the points that you as the user have created.

What is Download to Mobile?

Download to Mobile is when you send your map to either your email address or as a free text message to your Mobile. clicking on the link will open Google maps for mobile app automatically showing you the points you have created on Cyber2Street. Now you can use Google maps features to get directions and more.

*please note clicking on the link automatically opens Google maps for mobile app on *Smartphone devices mentioned above.

What is SharePoints?

For sharing a map with your friends; you can send it to an email address or a Cyber2Street username, the user will receive the message in his inbox and can use the map, share with other friends, add Comments and Ratings to your points.

Creating a point:

Step1: Search on the map

Step 2: Fill the point`s form and close the window

Step 3: When left clicking on a point, the information bubble appears.

Creating Groups

Step 1: Right click or click on the Group button.

Step 2: search for points you created to add to Group

Step 3: click on row to add points to Group, hit OK.

Step 4: Left click on the point to see the Group`s name.

Creating Events:

Step 1: Right click or click on the Event button.

Step 2: search for points you created to add to Event

Step 3: click on row to add points to Event, hit OK.

Step 4: Left click on the point to see the event`s name.

Creating Routes:

Step 1: Right click or click on the Route button.

Step 2: search for points you created to add to route

Step 3: click on row to add points to route, hit OK.

Step 4: You will see a line created between the points

How do I zoom in on a map?

You either double click on the location of the map (not at the point itself but on the map) or you use the zoom in zoom out toolbar on Google map.
